Callo Signed Bottle

Acquired December 30, 2002
Reviewed May 27, 2004

PROS:
The design work is amazing and having signatures of Barbara Eden, Larry Hagman and Bill Daily is truly a rare accomplishment.

CONS:
The bottle shows some wear and tear and funny enough it has all these signatures scrawled on that obscure the excellent design work!!

BACKGROUND:
This bottle arrived into my keeping from the original owner who was friends with the artist Callo. I had heard about this bottle, which was signed during the taping of the Donny and Marie show that aired November 19, 1999. This was the first reunion of the cast of I Dream of Jeannie in 29 years and this bottle marks that special occasion.

BOTTLE:
The design work on this bottle is immaculate and very faithful to Barbara Eden’s prop bottle. The artist Callo only painted five bottles no more no less and does not wish to be contacted in any way shape or form concerning his Jeannie bottle artistry. I respect his wishes and I hope that you will too. The bottle also came wrapped in the velvet back original made by Callo for this bottle. Were it not for the scarcity of his work he would easily have garnered a top spot on this review site. Perhaps he will reconsider his retirement from the IDOJ world!
