BACKGROUND:
Early on in my collecting of Jeannie’s bottle I had run across a few web sites that mentioned Dan Moyer’s work and the bottle that he created for the AT&T Super Bowl but I was unsuccessful in contacting him. Once we did make contact I discovered that at the time he was only painting on ceramic replica bottles which I just don’t collect unless they are unique designs. I lost interest at that point but then I saw an auction on eBay for a first season Jeannie bottle painted my Dan Moyer on an original Jim Beam bottle. I was intrigued and fortunately I won the auction. As it turned out that first season bottle had been augmented by the original owner. The beauty of the bottle made me rethink contacting Dan again which I did.

BOTTLES:
As you can see I found his bottles so beautifully done that I had to have the entire set and he has garnered a top place in my esteem as a Jeannie bottle artist. I hope you will enjoy my shrine to Dan and his amazing work.

In addition to his accomplished work with Jeannie’s bottle he replicates other famous Hollywood props such as the wimple of the Flying Nun, Lucretia Munster’s bat necklance and fine series of animation cell replicas from I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched. He also does something very unique to his Jeannie bottles, click on the bottles to discover is innovation. Visit Dan at www.danmoyer.com.

UNIQUE:
Here is something you will not see on another artist’s bottle or I should say off another artist’s bottles. Dan sometimes offers the option of removing the production numbers from the bottom of the bottle. Some would argue that the Jim Beam bottle loses some of its value without the production numbers. Well I would argue that a two thousand year old Jeannie bottle probably wouldn’t have production numbers! I asked Dan to remove the numbers from my set and of course my Dan Moyer collection is more valuable than any set of plain Jim Beams!
