BOTTLE:
This is Daryl’s First Season Jeannie bottle done in the style of the pilot episode. The designs are gold paint on an uncoated Jim Beam bottle that was sealed with a high gloss coat. What really captivated me with this bottle was the replica stopper. When Major Nelson was rescued from the island by the helicopter that Jeannie had blinked up for him she stashed her bottle into his backpack but the original stopper that had kept her imprisoned for two thousand years was left on the beach where it had been thrown by Major Nelson when he first released her. Later in the episode Major Nelson needed to keep Jeannie in her bottle so he grabbed a glass stopper from his bar and used that. This was the stopper used for the first season of I Dream of Jeannie. The one with this bottle is a clear resin replica that appears crackled on the sides. The actual glass stopper was clear and hollow.
