•I DREAM OF JEANNIE
The popular 1960’s hit situational comedy, I Dream of Jeannie, ran for five seasons producing a total of 139 half hour (30 minute) episodes (30 black and white in the first season and 109 color in the second thru fifth seasons). The show was created, written and produced by Sidney Sheldon and Sidney Sheldon productions for the Screen Gems Network now owned by Sony Television a division of Sony Entertainment. I Dream of Jeannie premiered September 18, 1965 and concluded on May 26, 1970 after which the show went into syndicated reruns and continue to run internationally as much as four episodes per day making it one of the most popular and widely viewed television productions in history. •BARBARA EDEN
Played triple rolls as Jeannie, Jeannie’s sister (9 episodes) and Jeannie’s mother (2 episodes) and reprised her roll as Jeannie and Jeannie’s sister in the two reunion movies, I Dream of Jeannie 15 Years Later (aired October 20, 1985) and again in, I Still Dream of Jeannie (aired October 20, 1991). Having been imprisoned for 2000 years in a bottle by the Blue Djinn whom she refused to marry she was only too happy to please Captain Nelson upon her release. Although Captain Nelson gave her, her freedom she chose to follow him home to Coco Beach, Florida and eventually became Mrs. Anthony Nelson. •LARRY HAGMAN
Played Anthony Nelson an Airforce Captain in the burgeoning NASA space program. As a child, he lived in Wisconsin. In 1965, when the second stage of his orbital space launch misfired forcing him to abort the mission he crashed on a deserted Pacific island. Here he met Jeannie, a real genie imprisoned inside a bottle. In early 1966 Captain Nelson was promoted to Major at the same time Roger was. •BILL DAILY
Played Roger Healey an Army Captain also in the NASA space program and Anthony Nelson's best friend. By happenstance he found out about his genie one morning when he was waiting for Tony at his house. He rubbed Jeannie's bottle, and she came out! Captain Healey was promoted to a Major the same day in early 1966 that Anthony was. Billy Daily reprised his role as Major Roger Healey in both reunion movies. •HAYDEN RORKE
Played Doctor Alfred Bellows an Airforce Colonel working as the staff psychologist in the NASA space program. Doctor Bellows is married to Amanda Bellows, played by Emmaline Henry, and has devoted his life to "figuring out" Major Nelson.
