Rob aka Wjenn

BACKGROUND:
I purchased these two bottles from Rob quite some time ago. They were sold as a set with one style being the second season bottle and the other the “Evil Sister’s” bottle. I could not recall what Jeannie’s Sister’s bottle looked like from the reunion movie, I Dream of Jeannie 15 Years Later so I went ahead and bought both bottles. The Sister’s bottle is definitely interpretive and not based on the reunion movie designs. Additionally the Sister’s bottle arrived with the paint flaking off around the mouth of the bottle. Rob accepted the return of the bottle and either fixed or redid it entirely. You can find his website at: hometown.aol.com/wjenn11070.

BOTTLES:
The second season bottle is mulberry colored with white arches. The Sister’s bottle is a nice forest green also with white arches. It appears that the paint used for the design work is a type of thick enamel that is raised and very shiny. The design work is too thick and lacks precision in its application. For example the dots in the windows around the base of the second season almost fill the entire filigree. From viewing Rob’s website it appears that he has refined his work since these bottles were purchased.

PROS:
The bottles are entirely hand painted.

CONS:
The design work is too thick and imprecise.
