Second Season

BOTTLE:
From the base color of the bottle to the design work this is an amazing and faithful replica of the second thru fifth season prop bottles. Perhaps most stunning is the base paint for this bottle. Most of the time it photographs a much darker deeper hue like the metallic purple but is in fact a lighter hotter mulberry to fuchsia color. Many bottles attempting to match the prop bottle colors turn out too pink like Pepto Bismol.

The design work is very delicate, for my taste it is slightly too delicate make the designs indistinct from any amount of distance. Up close the bottle is clean and beautiful but not as eye catching. The high quality sealant gives the final bottle a very glassy look that is perhaps a bit too shiny.

Like everything Dan does there is such evident attention to detail and every stroke of the brush is clean and precise. This is the crowning jewel among Dan’s bottles and together with the first season and reunion bottles forms a troika of beauty!

PROS:
The best base paint color and great fidelity to the original prop colors.

CONS:
The design work is a bit too delicate and fine to be distinct in anything but a close examination of the bottle.
