BOTTLE:
Daryl was one of the first people I saw painting the Sister’s bottle from the 1991 reunion movie, I Still Dream of Jeannie. The sister’s bottle seems to garner a great deal of attention from collectors considering it only appeared on the screen for 36 seconds before it was smashed on the floor when Tony Junior escapes from being imprisoned in it. I do think it is a beautiful bottle and Daryl has worked hard to master the two color base coat on this bottle as well as his custom bottles. Part of the design work around the bottom of the bottle is slightly off from the prop design in the movie. Instead of the crescent moon shapes the design should look more like a tulip petal or the side view of a lotus blossom. The combination of the black and the opalescent green looks good with the gold design work and the red accents around the stopper.
