Over 1400 guests of honor today celebrated with an enthusiastic and prolonged standing ovation at the premiere of Dance of the Vampires at the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart. Almost ten years after the Germany premiere of Dance of the Vampires March 31, 2000 returns the musical back to its first German venue.
Among the guests were many celebrities from the arts, business, sports and entertainment: "The whole musical is so great! I am excited about the actors, the costumes, just everything, "said TV presenter Frank Elstner. Cast Dietz-Werner Steck even demanded: "I call all of Stuttgart! Everyone should come and be watching! It is so sensationally good. "J.R. Ewing Actor Larry Hagman was equally enthusiastic: "The musical is wonderful! I had a unique evening in Stuttgart, with great music and great voices. Above all, I liked the humor of the musical. "For vampire lovers and singer Marc Terenzi Actor January Ammann was the highlight:" Jan is simply breathtaking. He is the perfect actor for the role of the Count. I am very impressed "with his ex-girlfriend Gina-Lisa Lohfink I enjoyed the opening night at the Palladium Theater:" I like vampires! The musical is just mega.

Spend an evening with the man Entertainment Weekly ranked as one of the 50 Greatest TV Icons. Hear him share stories of his life and career, including his famous mother, Mary Martin; the discovery of a Jeannie in a bottle; and Who Shot J.R. – 350 million “ Dallas” fans worldwide wanted to know! It’s a warm, funny, and candid self-portrait, featuring a multi-media presentation filled with vintage family slides, rare film clips, and outtakes. Larry wraps up the show by taking questions from the audience. Larry Hagman was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in March of this year.

Actor Larry Hagman and his wife, Maj, have listed their longtime mountaintop home in Ojai, a 43-acre spread befitting "Dallas' " J.R. Ewing, for $11 million.
The nine-bedroom, 14 1/2 -bathroom Mediterranean-style estate was designed and built for the couple in 1992. Sitting behind iron gates, the 18,000-square-foot main house has an open floor plan with walls of sliding glass doors, painted murals, an indoor grotto-style spa and a retractable roof over a 40-foot saltwater lap pool in the grand room, which has accommodated parties of up to 200 people. Glass walls on three sides provide unobstructed views from the bed in the master suite. There are ocean, Channel Island, mountain and valley vistas.
The compound includes a two-bedroom guesthouse, a separate office, an outside pool connected by streams to two ponds, a private helipad and more than 200 avocado trees.

The countdown to LOVE RIDE 26 begins this Saturday, August 22 with a kick-off celebration and block party at Glendale Harley from 3:00PM-9:30PM. In addition to enjoying the festivities, those attending the party can be among the first to register for the legendary ride--the largest one-day motorcycle fundraising event in the world. LOVE RIDE 26 will be themed around the 40th anniversary of the ultimate road movie, EASY RIDER, the 1969 film classic staring Peter Fonda, a longtime LOVE RIDE Honorary Grand Marshall.
"We're excited about the 2009 ride, and marking EASY RIDER'S 40th anniversary is a fun new way to shed more light on what we're doing," said LOVE RIDE Founder & Chairman Oliver Shokouh, owner of Glendale Harley®. "LOVE RIDE is about helping those less fortunate--this year, more than ever, there are so many people who need our assistance. Through the generosity of participants and sponsors of 2008's Love Ride, we raised $1 million. I know that everyone is going to step up and help us exceed that figure. I'm looking forward to getting started at the kick-off this Saturday."
The LOVE RIDE 26 family-style kick-off event will take place outside the Glendale Harley dealership, located at 3717 San Fernando Rd., Glendale, CA, 91204 at the intersection of Mira Loma Ave and San Fernando Road. Highlights will include live music--kids rock band Harley Drive and '70s/'80s cover band Time Bomb--DJ Mr. Gee, an airbrush tattoo artist, popcorn, cotton candy, prize raffles, and other entertainment and treats for all ages. As part of the day, the Glendale H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) Chapter will also hold a fundraising bike wash.
Shokouh is scheduled to speak to the crowd at 6:15PM. A hearty beef brisket dinner will follow, with the evening being capped by cartoons and a feature film digitally projected on a large outdoor screen in the dealership's employee parking lot. When the action-packed event ends, Glendale Harley will return to normal operations--until the early morning of October 25. Then--marking the climax of the three-day lifestyle event California Bike Week (10/23-25)--over 25,000 bikers from around the world will converge there for the start of LOVE RIDE 26. The ride, led by Grand Marshall Jay Leno, ends at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA with a giant vendor show, food, drinks and a star-studded concert.
LOVE RIDE 26's partnership with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to celebrate the 40th anniversary of EASY RIDER--and the film's release on high-definition Blu-ray Disc(TM) on October 13--adds a new dimension to the world-famous motorcycle fundraiser. Released the same year as Woodstock, EASY RIDER'S rock 'n roll soundtrack and anti-establishment storyline captured the era, and unforgettable performances by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson made it a counterculture classic. EASY RIDER-themed promotions, music, and giveaways will be part of the action throughout California Bike Week and its centerpiece event, LOVE RIDE 26.

Madrid - US actor Larry Hagman, best known for his role as J.R. Ewing, the unscrupulous heir to a Texas oil fortune in Dallas and most loved for his role as Major Anthony Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie, plays a millionaire again in a new Spanish television series which debuted on Tuesday.
He plays Richard Slater, an American with "dubious morals" who hid the fact that his son was adopted from a Spanish family in the afternoon soap opera We Are Accomplices, private television station Antena 3 said on its website.
"He is a very, very wealthy man somewhat like J.R. who a long time ago adopted a young boy from Spain and he wanted to pay the family back, give them recognition and help them if he can and he came back to find the family of his son," the actor said in a video posted on the website.
Hagman started filming the series at the end of July in Marbella, one of Europe's most exclusive resorts which is frequented by royalty and films stars, and other locations along Spain's Costa del Sol in the Mediterranean.
